Tons of nerdy people, tons of food and booze and a ridiculous media center.
That’s right. Last night Google had their holiday party at some insane loft on 37th street. They were serving top shelf liquor (but no shots), filet mignon, and had the sickest game room set up.
There was a moving screening room, a game room with every console imaginable, karaoke. I mean these people were not kidding.
I was a little surprised to see tons of thin people. And by that I mean, not a single person at this party was fat. I am serious. At first I thought it was a generalization, so I went on the prowl. And not a single one.
But there were a TON of geeky people. And tons of socially awkward people. But they quickly got over their insecurities once the booze set in. Tons of techies dancing to Soulja Boy. Too much.
The theme was, what else, Winter Wonderland and they had all the servers wearing pajamas. Okay? But they did give out $50 gift certificates to Mint Spa and I have more than one. Spa day anyone?
