Kanye West may have done some crazy asinine things, but the man is a genius. And there is a thin line between genius and insanity. If you have a minute, read what he wrote on creativity.
I don’t think I’ve ever cried when I met a celebrity, but I have yet to meet Paul Walker, Shia LeBeouf or ahem, Ed Westwick, so we will have to see.
However a bunch of girls had their dreams come true when they had a chance to bowl at Chelsea Piers with Trey Songz, whom I LOVE, and they cried. So sweet, although I feel there will be less crying and more panty throwing when he performs tonight at M2. Peep the photos.
What upcoming show was the hilarious youtube user talking about? ChiChi212 has the answer AND photos from the poster campaign that will soon be plastered all over NYC transit. Hopefully with cocaine dots and penises, Perez style.
I knew not everyone would be happy with my post on Paul Johnson Calderon and Kashmir Snowdon-Jones and I was right. A friend of mine, who is a very good friend of Kashmir’s sent me an email that I have included below and she makes some good points.
When you have a famous last name, in any circle, that comes with responsibility. People will be scrutinizing your every move. These “socialites” complain when the spotlight is shone on some horrific act they have committed, but don’t seem to mind when their last name gives them privileges most people don’t have. It’s a double-edged sword, be careful not to fall on it.
And now, the letter.
Like everything I write, this will probably get me in a lot of trouble, but as usual, I could care less. As I rarely follow the “high society” set, I didn’t know who Kashmir Snowdon-Jones was, only that she shared a last name with one of my favorite people, Emma Snowdon-Jones (Emma is her ex-stepmother). Well as it turns out, she was charged earlier this month for grand larceny and identity theft.
She and Paul Johnson Calderon, the purse jacker, were joking on twitter about hanging out in jail together. I don’t understand how two people can openly laugh about being thieves. It is disgusting.
The week kicked off at M2 this past Monday in honor of Juelz Santana’s 27th birthday. The event was hosted by Diddy, Chris Brown, Lil Kim, Fabolous, Al Harrington, Wilson Chandler, and DJ Clue providing the entertainment.
Coming up this Thursday Night is the 1 year Anniversary of M2’s Tabloid Thursdays. The party is being hosted by Soulja Boy Tell ‘em with DJ Clue and DJ Envy on the 1s and 2s.
Now I should have known Ed Westwick would be at Tommy Hilfiger’s show as the two are friends. But alas, it didn’t click and I was too busy eating delicious food at Recette, review coming on Monday). But he was there and I was not.
My intern however was, and she neglected to tell him how much I adore him. Thanks Thelma! And wait is he sitting next to who I think he’s sitting next to? Oh say it ain’t so?!?!?
