American Eagle Times Square Store Opening0 comments

I think it is pretty safe to assume that any event or any thing happening in Times Square will be chaos.  Such was the case last night as celebs came in droves to see the new 3 level American Eagle superstore.

Pete Wentz DJ’d while the fashion set roamed the store grabbing mini cupcakes and getting custom trucker hats personally designed. Side note: Isn’t it way too early to bring the trucker hat back?  Regardless, there was also a custom hoodie shop and a free panty give away for the ladies.

The stand out attraction of the evening was Leighton Meester performing her new song, Somebody to Love.  She retired her Blair Bands for the night and opted for a bee hive coif with bangs and she actually didn’t sound terrible.  She had a poor sound set up working against her, but the girl has a great voice and looked completely at home on stage performing.  Who knew?  Plus, she had the sexy Carter Baizen (aka Sebastian Stan) watching with a huge smile on his face as she performed.  *Sigh*

Other stars in attendance were Adrienne Bailon, Jessica Szohr, Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley (so random), Michelle Trachtenberg, Christian Siriano, Adrian Grenier, just to name a few.
