W Hotels kicked off “Symmetry: A DJ Series” with performances by DJ Didi of The Brazilian Girls and DJ SuchandSuch (aka Jaleel of TV On The Radio) and will continue the series with a performance by Hercules and Love Affair at W New York tonight. Curated by Michaelangelo L’Acqua (international music expert and W Hotels’ Global Music Director), “Symmetry: A DJ Series” is designed as a platform for emerging artists and the line-up is a veritable who’s who of cutting-edge musicians, including:
November 18 – Michaelangelo L’Acqua
December 2 – Holy Ghost
December 16 – Treasure Fingers
Held in the property’s spacious Living Room from 8-11pm, the series features drink specials (including the appropriately named Backspin Manhattan and Dub A Pear cocktails) in addition to DJ sets showcasing the hottest talent from all corners of NYC.
