You know the feeling. You’ve RSVP’d to all the appropriate people, put all of the night’s events in your Blackberry/iPhone and picked out your outfit that can go from concert to gallery opening to nightclub anniversary party. You know exactly what time you will arrive at and leave each place and everyone you’re meeting up with knows you will not be convinced to stay for “one more drink” because you are on a tight schedule.
As you sit on your couch thinking of which order to hit the parties in and the fastest way to get from point A to point B, you realize that you are tired. You are tired and you really don’t feel like going anywhere.
This feeling is what I like to call invitation paralysis.
Suddenly that episode of The City that you have seen five times starts looking really interesting. You’re feeling kind of motivated to clean out your closet and find your spring clothing. Maybe you’ll even go to bed early because you’re actually going to get up and run six miles. Anything to avoid going out and god forbid, socializing.
Sometimes being a butterfly makes you wish you were still in the cocoon stage of your social life.

We FEEL your pain. Though, I prefer cheesy horror movies from netflix to The City…
Hope to see you tonight!
