Tenjune Sundays: Money In The Bank For EMM Group0 comments

I keep hearing people call Mark and Eugene a young Noah and Jason. Recent headlines will agree. Strategic Group has lowered the bar at Marquee because their VIPs are now at Avenue.

I checked out Tenjune Sundays and it seems as if EMM Group is following in their footsteps. In case you haven’t heard, the space formerly known as Lotus will soon be Abe & Arthur’s (a brasserie) and Simyone (the lounge in the basement).

Tenjune has always been exclusive, but as of late the door has been slipping. This was definitely the case on Sunday. The crowd was mediocre at best. The way I see it, every business loses money in the beginning, as will A&A and Simyone. But if Mark and Eugene lower the standards at the door (at least on Sunday) and charge everyone a $$ cover, that will give them a nice cushion.
