Zagat put out a pretty good article on nightlife since every bubble on earth burst, and two faves of ChiChi212 made it in: The Eldridge and Above Allen. My favorite part of the article is:
Hot Blocks: Voted NYC’s hottest nightlife neighborhood, the Lower East Side had a banner year, with the most buzz-worthy newcomers. Exclusivity came downtown with the opening of Eldridge, and Thompson LES Hotel introduced Above Allen, a rooftop bar with a retractable roof and chic furniture.
Well I don’t know about the chic furniture, but everything else in that statement is right on point.
Congratulations to Matt Levine and the team over at the LES Thompson!
