Derek And Daniel Koch’s Day & Night Makes It To Vanity Fair
Vanity Fair has acknowledged the epicness that is Derek and Daniel Koch‘s Day & Night party at the Oak Room.
In an article titled This Is Not Your Mama’s Oak Room!, George Wayne checks out brunch and catches up with the twins. The only negative to this article, no photos. G.W. calls them gorgeous then fails to give us new pictures to drool over. Sigh. Here’s what he had to say:
The nightlife impresarios behind the new Oak Room are the gorgeous twin brothers Derek and Daniel Koch, and they launched Day & Night last October. Dying to learn more, G.W. sat down for a quick espresso with the “Twin Towers” one Saturday afternoon:
George Wayne: Ladies and gentlemen, I know you have heard of the Starn Twins and the Olsen Twins—well, now meet the Koch Twins! It’s pronounced “Cook,” since you’re both from the swing state of Ohio, right? Is it true, Daniel, that you and your brother were on the wrestling team of Ohio State?
Daniel Koch: Yes, for two years. We were athletes in high school, and we were always looking for challenges. We were on the wrestling team of O.S.U., but we dropped out of college after two years to move to New York.
