Matt Levine Went Before CB3 For His New LES Restaurant

Matt Levine went before the CB3 to get approval for his new LES restaurant. The community boards are known to give people in the nightlife industry a hard time but on this day, we prevailed.

In addition to DJs, doormen, promoters and other industry folk, tons of LES residents showed up on Team Levine. Not like he needed it, as the CB loved the concept. It also didn’t hurt that Matt had no violations during his three years with the Eldridge.

1,000 signatures later and his new restaurant has the green light. It will be located at 133 Essex Street, the former Mason Dixon space and will be open Sunday-Wednesday until 2am and Thursday-Saturday until 4am.
