Flavors Of The City
“Flavors of the City” is a food tasting charity event hosted by Follow That Girl NYC, an organization that empowers women to empower others. The event was created to raise awareness of domestic abuse and to benefit Socks 4 Tots, a not for profit organization that offers assistance to domestic abuse victims and their families.
Taylor Armstrong, star of Bravo’s hit TV series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and New York Times Bestselling author for three consecutive weeks of “Hiding from Reality” will be hosting this red carpet event. A survivor of domestic abuse herself, Taylor Armstrong will share her personal experience with the crowd and bring awareness by speaking about her new book “Hiding from Reality”.
Enjoy delectable cuisine by chefs from New York City’s top restaurants. Join us as we honor legendary Chef Alex Garcia, restaurateur, TV personality, author and the original pioneer in creating the Nuevo Latin cooking movement. Chef Garcia will be accompanied by other restaurateurs, including Chef Joe “JJ” Johnson, winner of Bravo TV’s Rocco’s Dinner Party. Delicious desserts will be served by Georgetown Cupcake, along with many other sweet treats!
