Brother Jimmy‘s opened last week in Union Square and brought my favorite chow place a little closer to home. Although I love the Murray Hill location for it’s delicious polo wearing clientele and the Penn Station location for Karaoke, I’m stoked that I’m now in delivery range!
Like any BJ’s event, there were delicious selections from the menu (if you have not have the marbled brisket or the buffalo chicken sandwich you are missing out on life) and open bar (get the frozen margarita. It. Is. Amazing.) Also in true BJ’s form, Nick Lachey and Joey Fatone were in attendance. It’s very appropriate. We’re all stuck in the 90s with our obsession with deer hunter and they’re stuck in the 90s with boy band members. I’ll bite.
There was a live performance from Sarah Mather, music by DJ Ruckus and a gaggle of guys drooling over Katrina Bowden (30 Rock). There was also group of guys who were *actually* trying to watch the game on the flat screen tv. Really guys? It was a PARTY.
You already know you love Brother Jimmy’s. Now you just have another place to enjoy it.
