The NY Post has reported that Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva are headed to Las Vegas and will, more likely than not, bring 1Oak to Jet nightlclub at the Mirage.

Aside from the obvious remarks, “are they going to call it 2Oak? ha ha,” one really needs to think about whether or not Scott and Richie can handle the heat out in Vegas.

Say what you want but while Strategic Group, EMM Group and the Butter Group are evenly monopolizing the New York scene, Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss pretty much have Las Vegas on lock.

Remember when everyone was saying LAVO NY was cheesy and it would never compare to 1Oak and The Darby because they ooze class, sophistication and blah blah blah? Well last time we checked, Vegas was CHEESY! And since the Butter group has ironically been portraying itself as lactose intolerant, it will be interesting to see how this develops.

1Oak Las Vegas is set for a New Year’s Eve opening. Sound familiar?

*** Interesting side note: someone in the Butter camp definitely messed up, because that same flyer was emailed to us sans the Las Vegas mention. Makes us wonder who lost their job last week?
