The owners of Room Service/ Tens Cabaret went in front of Community Board 5 earlier this week to seek a transfer of the liquor license from an old corporation to a brand new LLC.

Remember Azza? It was hot for all of ten minutes a few years ago. Well the Cheshire Cat has told us that it is reopening. Whether or not it will be Azza part deux or something completely different is anyone’s guess.

Oh hipsters, your prayers have been answered.  Word on the street is the Jane Ballroom will be ready for some MGMT songs and the hipster sway once again on Monday March 1st.

A few weeks ago people were buzzing about 1Oak adding a bar downstairs and I just wrote it off as drunk speak. And today on Clubplanet, Alan Philips wrote that he had also heard about it but says it could purely be speculative. I’m trying to figure out where they could even put a “secret lounge” down there. I guess that’s part of the “secret”

I said it before, Bungalow 8 was coming back bigger and better than ever! And we won’t have to wait long.
