Someone, who will remain unnamed lest they be banned for life, mentioned that 1Oak may be falling off.

Now let me say, I don’t know what the party has looked like lately, since I’m banned from the club, BUT I did check my numbers and most of you *are* checking in/updating your status from places other than 1Oak. And the people who *are* still bragging that they’re at the club are NOT 1Oak material. This may be because Scott and Richie’s PR peeps may have finally scared most people out of tweeting, or because the club is on the decline.

Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick were at SL last night. The ONE Tuesday I don’t go, Ed shows up. Very heartbreaking.

Last night was the Fifth Annual Paper Magazine Awards at M2, for which yours truly was nominated. Let’s recap the night as much as we can. The Svedka open bar is not making it easy and even chasing drinks with Perrier water didn’t help much.

Now don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the Black Eyed Peas. I really do.  But I just feel like they are EVERYWHERE.  Between them and that damn I’ve Got A Feeling song, I am on BEP overload.

I said it once and I’ll say it again, SL is the sh!t. The music is amazing, the room is sick and the crowd is hot, Hot and HOT some more.  I only have one itsy bitsy problem:

Earlier we told you Justin Ross Lee was denied entry into Avenue last night. The Cheshire Cat later informed us that although JRL was at 1OAK, he is banned from there as well. (Editor’s Note: JRL proudly lists the venues he has lifetime bans from, and  1OAK is not amongst them.)

I don’t know what beef JRL has with Aalex Julian, but one cannot deny that there is beef after THIS Facebook status update.

Justin Ross Lee v. Manhattan Nightlife: It’s On.

ChiChi212 will talk to Brad Zeifman, head of Shadow PR along with Lisette Sand-Freeman, today and finally get some answers on this SL business.

Remember when I said the opening of SL was delayed and then updated with a PR statement that said SL was not having any financial problems and would be opening on time?

Well on time meant September 18th.  Ariel Moses, I want answers!

Shadow PR is usually very on top of their sh!t and I like Lisette and Brad. What is going on people?

Apparently that’s not REALLY what happened.  According to a comment on :

the altercation wasnt between richie akiva and mark birnbaum. Mark was upset cause one of 1oaks busboys had pushed him while he was walking through and then cursed at him. He dragged the busboy over to where Richie and Scott was and demanded he be fired and then reenacted what the busboy did and when he did that the champagne glasses and ice went spilling all over the place. The fight had nothing personal to do with Richie and Mark. Tension was high cause Mark needs to learn more respect for other peoples clubs.

Well Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm seem a little angry but they should have seen this coming. I think they really believed SL could match up to 1OAK. Hell, Avenue has been doing alright, BUT Avenue is also right around the corner.  I’ve seen people bounce back and forth between the two all night.

SL is a great party, but really it’s the pregame. Come 2am, if you’re not at 1OAK, you might as well go home.

But I would totally pay to watch a fight between EMM Group and whatever Scott and Richie call themselves, tag team style.
