She’s got gigs at Ella, the Eldridge, Plan B and is DJing every other event that pops up on the ChiChi212 Calendar. She’s being interviewed, she’s making appearances on The Real World, and she has over 22,000 myspace fans.

This girl needs an intern/assistant booking agent. And that lucky person could be you. This is a serious position with serious potential. Requirements and the email address to apply after the jump.

Requirements:

  • Be willing to sign a confidentiality/Non Disclosure agreement.
  • Familiar with Google, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel as well as basic email programs like Gmail.
  • Comfortable doing basic accounting on an Excel spreadsheet
  • Outgoing without being obnoxious. Courteous and professional yet engaging.
  • Presentable and well mannered
  • 21+ with a valid drivers license
  • OK with running errands such as picking up checks, equipment and other daily needs within the walkable area.
  • Able to handle a late afternoon/evening schedule and work within my work/live loft space in Soho and/or via phone/aim.
  • Available on their cell phone from noon -midnight daily.
  • Possess strong promotional skills such as spreading the word via social networking sites like Facebook/Myspace etc
  • Comfortable with cold calling and pitching to various nightclubs and media outlets as well as identifying and researching potential opportunities
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while still being social: no party girl/boys wanted.
  • Represent me in an engaging yet responsible manner. I am also not here to babysit or find you dates/new best friends.
  • Be excited about music, entertainment and nightlife with a willingness to learn from a seasoned music industry worker/DJ
  • Willing to travel if and when suitable
Notes:
  • A commission structure will be negotiated and will include all territories outside of NY.
  • You will not required to be at every gig, but must be excited to be a part of the entire process
  • I DO NOT WANT ANY WANNABE DJ’S. I don’t have time to teach you how to DJ. Please only apply if you are interested in learning about the music/entertainment/nightlife industries and the business side of things (music agent/booking/pr and marketing)
