The First Hamptons 2010 Shakeup Of The Year Is In

Joey Morrissey is in talks with David Waksman to open up PINK Southampton. David owns the property that Pink Elephant Southampton was on as well as The Capri, The Atlantic and The Bentley. But he doesn’t think the another club is the right move.“We’re just not sure if bottle service at the beach is the best way to use the space,” Waksman says. He thinks an eatery is the right way to go. Day & Night anyone?

“We’re going to need to reinvent the Hamptons nightlife,” Waksman says, adding that he was “extremely unhappy” with his former tenants.

“Anything will be better,” he says.

I hope Derek and Daniel Koch get the space.
