The Olsens Give Sunnies a Try

The Row's Vintage Brow Skimming Shape
I always thought that the Olsen twins’ sunglasses look over sized because they are so tiny, but it turns out they just really like the over sized look. So much so that they are partnering up with Linda Farrow to create a new line of sunglasses under their amazing clothing line, The Row.
Linda Farrow produces eyewear for the likes of Dries Van Noten and Bernard Wilhelm so adding The Row to the roster is like a match made in sunglass heaven. The twins are going to start with four styles: classic aviator, oversized square shape, sixties inspired round shade, and vintage brow skimmer. Nothing over the top, but they still will carry an edgy, luxurious glamour that has become synonymous with The Row.
The price will range between $325-$390 and will be sold only where The Row clothing is sold (think Barneys and Bergdorfs). Not too bad of a price point actually, considering they charge a crazy amount of money for a plain super soft tank top under The Row label. Also to put it in perspective, Tom Ford‘s sunglass line can go up into the $400s so this actually sounds pretty reasonable.
This is one celebrity launch that you can guarantee will be a success. The Olsen twins have established themselves not only as great businesswomen, but truly talented trend forecasters, trend setters, and designers. I can’t wait for the launch and already have my eye on those vintage retro shades (pictured above). Now all I need is a grande Starbucks latte and a giant over sized beat up sweater and my Olsen transformation will be complete.
