People gave me a lot of flack when I compared Su Casa to La Esquina and Rose Bar. People did not read what I wrote. These same people also have probably never had a cocktail tasting at Su Casa. But none of that matters now because I think we can stick a fork in it.

NYBarfly posed the question of “what’s the story with Su Casa?” Apparently they’re closed for renovations and will reopen on Thursday.

This makes me sad because Su Casa should have never been turned into a club/lounge thing. It is a cocktail den.  They should have stuck to serving tequila and burritos, like they did my first time there. But no. They had to go and ruin everything.

I reached out to their publicist and apparently the owners won’t return any of his calls or emails.

Where is my fork? Yes yes I know. You told me so. Le Sigh.
