If you haven’t seen the new Diesel ads you’re doing a great job avoiding the brainwashing that is advertising. But Diesel has a done a damn good job capturing the lightening speed at which we live. From powdering your baby while sprinting, to praying while on the treadmill, they’ve got it right. And they’re upping the ante by bringing you the “shortest and most intense party of the year.”

One hour is all they need. On Friday 04.18.08 from 9-10pm, they are cramming in all the vodka, beer, and music you would consume all night into 60 minutes. And if their party is anything like their other ads, this party is going to be pretty insane.

To get in free of charge, head to the Diesel store in Union Square and pick up a wristband. Then show up to the Altman Building (135 W. 18th) way before 9pm, as this line will probably out of control, and prepare to “live fast.” Speed partying is a little futuristic for me but I’ll get used to it.
