Valentino, Bloomingdale's And All Your Favorite Club Owners
So a few days ago I received an invite to a Bloomingdale’s in-store event. It was to celebrate the new Valentino Men’s Shop. Now Bloomingdale’s has these parties all the times but this one had some BIG names attached.

- Frank Roberts from Rose Bar
- Randy Scott from Kiss & Fly
- Unik from Bijoux
Really? This was like the All-Star team of Elite Nightlife. It was 6-8pm and there were going to be cocktails so I figured why not?
And THEN I realized the invite is on the website and I didn’t feel so special anymore. But that also meant that dozens of people who I have never seen before midnight would be all in my space from 6-8pm. And even worse it meant there would be people, who couldn’t normally get into these clubs, trying to schmooze with the owners for VIP access. No, no and no. Plus it started raining, so I stayed home.
