So I’m not quite sure we will see this look in the Hamptons this year. When I first saw it on Brad from The Rachel Zoe Project, I thought it was maybe just a personal style thing and not an actual trend. But, it looks like short shorts and blazers for boys are going to be the “It” way to dress this summer.

It is supposed to provoke a more leisurely attitude, but I kinda feel like it looks like you left the house with no pants on. We are all used to seeing shorts worn with tee shirts when guys dress down, which on some guys could look sloppy so maybe this is a good middle ground for the super preppy and the super messy.
However the old shorts were longer. They covered up that weird pale upper male leg thing that most women sort of, well, hate. It’s why we cringe when see it on the beach (and in bed), but secretly rejoice when some guys hike up their board shorts a bit to tan that pasty white sea of hair (yes! please tan it!).
So what happens when guys wear short shorts? Do they have to shave their legs? Will this add another angle to the word manscaping? Will men finally know what it is like to be scrutinized for their legs like women are?
Sadly probably not. Guys are less susceptible to cellulite so they would probably look flawless like Miss J does on ANTM. Ugh, men really do have it all.
